Since returning after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2006, he has been active in a multitude of community arenas. Chad’s most memorable years were teaching Physical Education at Sun Valley Elementary in San Rafael. He and his wife still reside in the Sun Valley neighborhood. He also enjoyed working within the Dixie School District as well as starting and operating a local business which provided afterschool sports and summer outdoors camps for elementary and middle school aged children, as well as helping run a Friday night basketball skills league in Marin City. Chad coached boys travel basketball as well as high school basketball at San Rafael High and The Branson School.
